Student Policy

Attendance: 100% attendance, complete assignments and participate in the class.

English fluency: Individuals must speak, read and write English at a Canadian Language Benchmark Level 5 Standard.

Exam Date: You will be notified of exam date by instructor. Individuals must produce 2 pieces of Gov’t issued ID (one with photo).

Exam Registration: Individuals must use JIBC student number and password to take the virtual exam in the myjibc.ca portal.

Exam Guidelines: Students have two hours to complete BST exam (60% to pass). Must use a computer with camera/mic. No cheating.

Exam Re-Writes: Each exam rewrite will cost $63.00, up to 3 attempts.  Students must register and pay full fees no later than one

week prior to scheduled exam date.

Course Fees: The course must be paid before the start of class.  Fees can be paid by credit card, visa debit or by e-transfer.

No Refund Policy: No refunds. 

Policies: You must abide by Sting’s code of conduct and attend all training sessions to write Gov’t exam.
