Instructor Biography

Charlena Radic, the Founder, President and CEO of Sting Investigations, Inc. and Sting Executive Group International (, Inc., is personally licensed as a Private Investigator, Security Consultant and Certified Security and Private Investigator Trainer across Western Canada. She brings with her close to 20 years experience in the security field. Her experience in areas of senior management, acquisitions and mergers, policy and procedure development, online training and course development, essential skills development, investigations, surveillance and general security services as well as a solid history in the hospitality and beverage service industry sets her as invaluable asset to her staff and clients alike. 


In early 2010, Charlena noticed there was significant training gap between security professionals and prospective employers; including private security companies, event coordinators, hotels, bars and indigenous communities located in remote areas.  She felt that individuals had different learning styles, required more essential skills and workplace training (i.e. communication, document use, computer skills, etc.), and flexibility with their busy schedules.  She formed which is the platform that facilitates the mandatory Basic Security Training and Private Investigator Training across Western Canada.  She later formed which connects job seekers and employers with career opportunities.


Her hands-on, no-nonsense approach to Training and Security Management continues to make Sting a proactive leader within the security community. With more than 25 years of experience in Hospitality, Private Security, Investigations and Security Training, Charlena Radic has a commitment to personal and professional excellence. Charlena Radic has an educational background in Business Management, along with her professional experience and associations with ASIS and other professional associations.


Through her career in hospitality investigations, Charlena has uncovered cases of employee theft, fraud, false injury claims, harassment in the workplace, collusion, compliance issues, failure to adhere to company policy and more.  She found that companies were struggling to find and attract the ‘right’ people and needed help screening staff.  In 2011, she and her team became authorized Mobile Fingerprint Agents through ClearNeed.  Assisting businesses and individuals with screening, whether it be applying for contracts with federal agencies, becoming a security professional or private investigator, applying for citizenship or permanent residence or changing your name.
